The Symplex Order of Operations
A full Symplex detail runs in the order the products were designed for. Wash with Platinum or Silica Wash. Decontaminate with Iron Wheel Remover — it is listed safe on paint and glass as well as wheels — and BondLift for tar and adhesive. Correct with the cut number the defects call for, then refine with Micro SHR or Finish Pro+. Inspect with Look See Control Prep, which strips polishing oils so you see the real state of the paint instead of the filled version. Protect with a wax, sealant or coating. Finish the wheels, tires, trim and interior last, so nothing lands on a surface you already cleaned.

Are Symplex products safe over an existing ceramic coating?
The wash and maintenance products are. Platinum Car Wash is pH 7.0–7.5 and will not strip protection; Silica Wash adds SiO2 during the wash; the Spartan sprays and Silex Reactive OPSZ are designed to layer over coatings as maintenance toppers.
