Description

Part of the Genius Quan Product Line, Quan Orange is a slingless, high-gloss tire shine: a ready-to-use, solvent-based tire dressing with a clear orange color. Its silicone formula bonds tightly to the tire for a deep, wet-look finish, and its label calls the result a sling-free shine. Use it on tires, rubber moldings and exterior trim.

Why you'll like it

  • No-sling tire shine. Let it dry fully before you drive. The label says that's what gives maximum shine and prevents sling.
  • High gloss, or less. It goes on wet-look glossy. Buff off the excess with a microfiber towel for a lower gloss.
  • Solvent-based dressing. Silicone technology that bonds tightly to the rubber. The label says it outlasts other solvent-based dressings.
  • Ready to use. No mixing. Apply with a foam applicator or mist it on with a sprayer.
  • Sizes for every job. 32 oz, 1 gallon and 5 gallon.

How to use

  1. Clean the tires first with an all-purpose degreaser such as Quan Wave or Quan Brown, removing any dirt, grease and debris.
  2. Apply Quan Orange directly to the tires with a foam applicator, or mist it evenly with a sprayer for a smooth, uniform coat.
  3. Let it dry fully before you move the vehicle. That's what gives maximum shine and prevents sling.
  4. For a lower gloss finish, buff away any excess with a clean microfiber towel.

Before you use it

  • Danger: highly flammable liquid and vapor. May be fatal if swallowed and enters airways. Keep it away from heat, sparks, open flames and hot surfaces, and don't smoke while you use it.
  • Don't breathe the mist or vapor. Use it with good ventilation.
  • It can irritate skin, and breathing the vapor may cause drowsiness or dizziness.
  • Wear solvent-resistant protective glasses, and wash your skin after handling.
  • Keep it out of reach of children. For chemical emergencies, call INFOTRAC at 800-535-5053.

How to Use Quan Products

Check the Label

Follow the directions on the label. RTU (ready to use) or mix to the recommended ratio for your task.

Test on a Hidden Area

First time with a new surface? Apply a small amount to an inconspicuous spot and check after 60 seconds.

Apply & Dwell

Spray or apply evenly. Give cleaners the recommended contact time — never let them dry on the surface.

Rinse or Wipe Clean

Remove thoroughly with clean water or a fresh microfiber. Buff dry for a streak-free finish.

Which Quan Product Do You Need?

Engine Bay

Cut through grease and grime in the engine compartment safely and effectively.

Wax & Shine

Boost gloss and add a protective layer of wax in a single step. Perfect for maintenance washes and show-day prep.

Ceramic Maintenance

Extend the life of your ceramic coating with a pH-neutral shampoo designed to clean without stripping protection.

Quan Usage Tips

Pro Tip

Always Check Your Dilution

Quan concentrates are powerful — using RTU on a task that calls for 10:1 wastes product and can over-saturate surfaces. Keep a dilution chart on your trailer or detail cart.

Pro Tip

Never Let Product Dry

On hot surfaces or in direct sun, Quan products can dry before you rinse. Work panel by panel and keep the surface wet during dwell time.

Pro Tip

Use Dedicated Microfibers

Cross-contamination is the #1 cause of swirl marks. Designate separate microfibers for each Quan product type — wash, wipe, dry, and never mix them.

FAQ

Quan Product FAQ

Common questions about ACG’s exclusive Quan product line.

For coated cars, wash with Quan Purple Ceramic Shampoo, which is pH 6–7 per its safety data sheet. Quan Pink Car Soap is pH neutral per its data sheet, and its label says it cleans without stripping wax. Other Quan products are made for specific jobs, like wheels, tires and degreasing. Check the individual product label for surface compatibility.
All Quan products are manufactured in the United States. They are developed and quality-tested in the United States as well with professional detailing standards.
Most Quan products are concentrated formulas designed for professional detailers who prefer to dial in their own dilution ratios. Each concentrate comes with a recommended dilution, and some list a stronger mix for tough jobs and a lighter one for routine cleaning. This gives you more product per dollar and the flexibility to mix for the task at hand. A few products in the line are RTU where concentration isn't practical, and those are clearly labeled. When in doubt, start with the recommended dilution and adjust from there — that's the pro move.
Yes — most Quan products are available in 32oz, 1-gallon, and 5-gallon sizes.
Yes. Safety Data Sheets for all Quan products are available on our SDS page or by request via email at support@autocaregenius.com.
