Description
Big EZ Detail Brush – Flexible Wheel Brush for Rims, Spokes & Engine Bays
Looking for a wheel cleaning brush that actually fits behind your spokes? The Big EZ Detail Brush is the go-to rim brush for detailers who need to clean wheel barrels, lug nut areas, brake calipers, engine bays, grilles, and other tight spots a mitt can't reach.
The flexible vinyl-coated steel stem bends around wheel faces and snakes deep into the barrel, while the soft nylex bristles scrub away brake dust without scratching painted, polished, powder-coated, or clear-coated wheels. It's chemical resistant too — pair it with your favorite wheel cleaner or iron remover without breaking down the bristles.
Built in the USA by the small family-owned company that invented the original EZ Detail Brush, this is the wheel brush trusted by professional detailers and weekend washers worldwide.
Heads up: Bristles may arrive compressed or bent from shipping. Soak the brush in warm or hot water and they'll spring right back to shape — the nylex bristles have a heat-activated memory.
Why Detailers Love It
- Safe on all wheel finishes — painted, polished, chrome, powder-coated, clear-coated
- Flexible stem reaches deep into wheel barrels and behind spokes
- Resistant to strong wheel cleaners, degreasers, and iron removers
- Rinses clean fast — no trapped brake dust or grit
- Made in the USA
- Available in Blue and Red

How to Use Your Wheel Brush
- Never use on hot wheels or hot surfaces
- Rinse the surface free of grit and loose debris
- Fill a bucket with warm, sudsy soap solution — warmer water makes the bristles softer
- Submerge the brush in the bucket
- Spray the surface with your wheel cleaner of choice and follow that product's directions
- Pick a straight path through spokes and crevices, then insert the brush with your wrist in line with the handle
- Gently twist the brush in one direction as you pull it out to keep bristles from snagging
- If it won't fit in a spot, don't force it
- Inside wheel barrels, move the brush side to side instead of in and out to avoid product flicking back at you
- Rinse the surface
- Dry with a blower or microfiber towel to prevent water spots
Brush Care & Maintenance
- Wash grease and oil off with warm soapy water or solvent — the bristles hold up to strong chemicals. Rinse thoroughly and hang to dry.
- Matted bristles? Rinse in hot tap water or hit them with a blow dryer on low. The nylex memory effect straightens them right back out.

Pro Detailer Tips
Patch Test First
Before applying any new product to a full panel, test on a small hidden area first — especially on older paint, vinyl wraps, or exotic finishes.
Read the SDS Sheet
Every professional detailing product has a Safety Data Sheet (SDS). Review it before first use to understand proper handling, dilution limits, and safety precautions.
Store Properly
Keep products in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight and freezing temperatures. Extreme heat or cold can degrade chemistry and shorten shelf life.
