Description
CARPRO ReTyre is a dedicated tire and rubber cleaner that strips old dressing buildup, browning, and embedded road grime off your sidewalls. It's for anyone whose tires turn brown a week after dressing them, and it's the non-negotiable prep step before a tire coating — dressings and sealants bond better and last longer on genuinely clean rubber.
ReTyre: The Rubber & Tire Cleaner That Resets Your Sidewalls
Regular car soap doesn't touch what's actually living on a tire: layers of half-degraded old dressing and ground-in grime. ReTyre is formulated specifically to break all of that down and take rubber back to its natural, matte-dark state. If your dressing keeps failing early, the problem usually isn't the dressing — it's what's underneath it.
How to Use It
- Rinse the tire to knock off loose dirt.
- Spray ReTyre across the sidewall.
- Agitate with a stiff tire brush, working the cleaner into the rubber.
- Rinse well and repeat until the suds run clean instead of brown.
- Let the rubber dry fully before dressing or coating.
Two Perfect Partners for ReTyre
ReTyre comes in a 500ml bottle, and it's best bought with its follow-up step in the same cart. Pair it with DarkSide tire & rubber sealant for a coated finish, or with PERL when you prefer a classic dressing you can re-dial at every wash.
Do I really need a tire cleaner before dressing?
If you want the dressing to behave, yes. Old product and grime create a weak layer between the rubber and whatever you apply next; ReTyre removes it so the new dressing or coating actually grips the tire.
Will ReTyre fix tire browning?
That's one of its main jobs — it strips the browning along with the failed dressing causing it, restoring the rubber's natural appearance.
Is it safe for the rubber itself?
Used as directed with a brush and a thorough rinse, yes — it's purpose-built for tire sidewalls and exterior rubber trim, cleaning deeply without leaving the surface worse than it found it.

Pro Detailer Tips
Patch Test First
Before applying any new product to a full panel, test on a small hidden area first — especially on older paint, vinyl wraps, or exotic finishes.
Read the SDS Sheet
Every professional detailing product has a Safety Data Sheet (SDS). Review it before first use to understand proper handling, dilution limits, and safety precautions.
Store Properly
Keep products in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight and freezing temperatures. Extreme heat or cold can degrade chemistry and shorten shelf life.
