Description
CARPRO IronX LimeScale 1 Liter (34oz) is a dual-action iron and mineral deposit remover — one bottle that dissolves both embedded brake dust and the lime scale hard water leaves behind. For Central Florida drivers battling well-water sprinklers and coastal spotting, it targets exactly what's sitting on your paint and glass.
CARPRO IronX LimeScale: Iron Contamination and Water Spots, One Bottle
Standard iron removers ignore mineral deposits, and water-spot removers ignore iron. LimeScale's acidic formula handles both at once: it dissolves lime scale, hard-water spots, and embedded iron particles on glass, paint, and wheels, with the familiar color-changing indicator flagging where iron is reacting. If your car lives in a hard-water or coastal climate, this replaces two separate decon steps.
How to Use It
- Wash and rinse first so the formula meets deposits, not dirt.
- Apply to glass, paint, or wheels showing spotting or iron specks.
- Watch the color change over iron contamination while the acidic formula works on the minerals.
- Rinse thoroughly per the label — don't let it dry on the surface.
One Liter or One Gallon?
The liter is right for a personal vehicle or two — enough for seasonal decon plus spot-treating sprinkler overspray as it happens. Detailers in hard-water territory doing this weekly should step up to the 1-gallon size for a meaningfully lower per-ounce cost. And if minerals aren't your problem, classic IronX 500ml covers iron-only decon.
What's the difference between IronX and IronX LimeScale?
Original IronX is pH-neutral and targets iron only. LimeScale adds mineral-dissolving acidity, so it also clears lime scale and hard-water deposits — the trade-off is that it's an acidic product, so follow the label closely.
Will it remove sprinkler water spots from glass?
Yes — glass is one of its core surfaces, and mineral spotting from sprinklers and hard water is precisely what the formula was built to dissolve, alongside paint and wheels.

Pro Detailer Tips
Patch Test First
Before applying any new product to a full panel, test on a small hidden area first — especially on older paint, vinyl wraps, or exotic finishes.
Read the SDS Sheet
Every professional detailing product has a Safety Data Sheet (SDS). Review it before first use to understand proper handling, dilution limits, and safety precautions.
Store Properly
Keep products in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight and freezing temperatures. Extreme heat or cold can degrade chemistry and shorten shelf life.
