Description
Medium-Polish Foam Pad for Flawless Gloss
The Ardex Yellow Med Polish Pad is a medium-polish foam buffing pad built for detailers and body-shop pros who need to refine paint after compounding. It bridges the gap between heavy cutting and final finishing, removing light swirls and holograms while leaving a bright, even gloss. Beveled-edge foam construction keeps the pad balanced on the panel and reduces sling for cleaner, more controlled passes.
Key features
- Medium-cut foam designed for polishing and swirl removal after compounding
- Beveled-edge profile for smooth panel contact and less product sling
- Pairs perfectly with Ardex polishes like Seal-B for a refined, glossy result
- Part of the color-coded Ardex pad system (yellow = medium polish)
- Works on clear-coated paint, dark colors, and modern finishes
- Machine-driven design for fast, consistent coverage on every panel
- Washable and reusable for repeat use across multiple details
How to use
Mount the pad on a backing plate fitted to your dual-action or rotary polisher. Apply a few small dots of polish to the pad face, spread at low speed, then work the product in overlapping passes at medium speed until it clears. Keep the pad flat against the surface, avoid running it dry, and wipe residue with a clean microfiber. Clean the pad after each use and allow it to dry fully before storing.

Pro Detailer Tips
Patch Test First
Before applying any new product to a full panel, test on a small hidden area first — especially on older paint, vinyl wraps, or exotic finishes.
Read the SDS Sheet
Every professional detailing product has a Safety Data Sheet (SDS). Review it before first use to understand proper handling, dilution limits, and safety precautions.
Store Properly
Keep products in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight and freezing temperatures. Extreme heat or cold can degrade chemistry and shorten shelf life.
